He is well-known for his parts in the film Terry Watson in Water Rats and as Alex Ryan in McLeod's Daughters as well as Matt "Fletch" Fletcher in Wentworth. Born in Howick, Auckland, Jeffery was able to move to Australia at the age of 17 and studied acting at NIDA.
